About Us

What began as a humble barbecue restaurant in 1983 has grown ​into a premium barbecue sauce known throughout Iowa and beyond. Although the original restaurant closed when Big Daddy passed, his family continued producing the well-known line of barbecue sauce flavors. While Big Daddy enjoyed testing people with sauce so hot “a dab on the end of a toothpick was all it took,” our focus is on full flavor premium sauces with various levels of heat. Creating unique sauces is also a favorite pastime of ours and is found in our apple, mango, and other flavors.
